I suppose first I should say that the Auto-Translate function is one of the best things SE could have ever come up with. However, for those who use it regularly in practice, it is rather limiting.
Now, I'm not saying that every little word and phrase should be included in the auto-translate. That would undoubtedly make the entire thing bulky and unwieldy. And, for the most part, people are able to communicate very easily. A simple {I don't speak [Language]} lets people know that one should be auto-translate friendly, as I like to say.
However, one word in particular that I've never understood why is NOT in the auto-translate is, in fact, Auto-Translate. The phrase {Please use the Auto-Translate function.} doesn't work nearly as often as one might think. However, having {Auto-Translate} by itself would be extremely versatile.
So, is there any particular reason that it's not in itself, or any plans to add it in the future?
